The Oregon Society of Medical Assistants is a professional support entity for medical office and ancillary healthcare personnel who perform clinical and administrative duties. We are an affiliate of the American Association of Medical Assistants. Many of our members are Certified Medical Assistants, with the credential CMA(AAMA). Our organization requires recertification every five (5) years for our credential. We promote continuing education for that purpose as well as keeping pace with the current medical trends and practices for all members and non-members.
